“THE GATHERING”
“The Gathering” is a new non-traditional class that will begin on Sunday, May 4th. This class will be led by Becky Rodriguez and is open to couples and singles in their 20’s, 30’s, and 40’s, with or without children. This class will focus on couples/singles with children between the ages of nursery through 6th grade.
Please join me in the prayer meeting room every Sunday from 9:45 am till 10:15 am as we discuss relevant topics and issues that our kids face in today’s society. We will be utilizing resources from Group Ministry and a newsletter developed by Parent Link. Light refreshments will be available from 9:30-9:45 for this gathering.
I invite you to drop off your children in our of our excellent Children’s Sunday School classes and casually make your way up to “The Gathering.”
Let me know if you have any questions. “The Gathering” is what I am calling this group for now. Hopefully once it starts up and we have attendance, I’m sure we will have a class name, but until then, this is what I was thinking.
Thanks! Becky Rodriguez

Aluminum cans - The youth and children of the Sunday School are recycling aluminum beverage cans to help raise money for the Elevator/Roof Funds.  If you could save your used pop cans and bring them to the church it would be appreciated.  There will be a bin set up behind the fellowship hall near the entryway to the Senior High classroom for your convenience.  See Pam Bowman if you wish further information about this project.

Cell phones can be deposited in the marked collection boxes. The church receives cash for each phone then the phones are recycled for use. Look for the receptacles at several locations in the church.

Ink jet cartridges can be recycled with the church receives cash for each recycled cartridge we turn in.  The following are the models that are currently being recycled.  Dispose of your used cartridges in the receptacle in the Coat Room and help the church and the enviornment.
